Common Questions
Do I need an account?
No account is required. After purchase you receive a license key by email. Paste it into ProxyGuard once and it activates permanently on your machine. No login, no subscription portal, no cloud dashboard to manage.
What if my license key doesn't arrive?
License keys are delivered by email within seconds of purchase. Check your spam folder first. If it is not there after a few minutes, email us with your purchase receipt and we will resend it promptly.
Can I use ProxyGuard on multiple Macs?
Each license is valid for one machine. If you need ProxyGuard on a second Mac, you will need an additional license. If you replace your primary machine, reach out and we can transfer the activation.
Does ProxyGuard slow down my requests?
ProxyGuard adds less than 5 milliseconds of latency per request. In practice this is imperceptible when working with AI tools that already round-trip to external APIs in hundreds of milliseconds.
How do I report a false positive?
If ProxyGuard is redacting something it should not, email us with the pattern that triggered the alert and a description of what the content actually is. We review all reports and update detection rules in the next release.
